Mechanika MAX pairs a 1.9-litre stainless-steel heat-exchange boiler with ECM’s thermosyphon E61 group, allowing espresso and steam to be prepared in the same workflow. Its Smart HX electronics add direct brew-temperature control or guided flushing—two approaches tailored to different barista preferences.

Guidance at the group
In conventional HX mode, the display indicates when a cooling flush is needed and guides its duration until the target condition is restored.

Program pump-driven wetting and pump-off soaking independently to encourage more even saturation before full extraction pressure.
