Great value

This product is exactly what I wanted. It gives you a precision grind for espresso, which is what I usually drink, but it also has coarse setting for when I want to use my Chemex or French press. The quality of the grind is great; lets you really dial in the grind for the perfect pull. And at a very reasonable price point.

Excellent Espresso Grinder

This is our third Baratza grinder in about 20 years and replaces a Virtuoso that finally failed after about 7 years and many thousands of grinds.
Tha Virtuoso was much heavier and had a good build quality, but the ESP has a better set of burrs and more fine adjustments for espresso grinds. It does seem to have a lighter build quality, so time will tell if it is durable.
The ESP dosing cup works surprisingly well, making it easier to get the ground coffee into the portaholder without making a mess.
Service fro Espresso dolce was excellent, but please - no more styrofoam packing peanuts, which pick up a static charge and are a real nuisance to dispose of!

Broke in 3 days unfortunately

Worked beautifully until day 3 and then stopped growing being. Everything was working. Motor etc. called for support and will have to exchange for a new one. Not encouraging

Impressive

I have had the Baratza Encore Esp 495W for a few days and used it four times. I used the espresso grind settings 15 and 18. Impressive performance! Looks like it is very well built. So it should last me a long time.
