The new Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.)

To ensure the optimum grind for every specialty, JURA engineers developed the Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.). The electronically controlled high-performance grinder adjusts in a fraction of a second to the predefined consistency of grind – much more quickly and frequently than could be done manually. Its spectrum ranges from very fine for short classics to very coarse for long specialties. But coffee lovers don’t need to worry, because the adjustment takes place automatically every time a beverage is prepared and, if preferred, can also be individually selected before each preparation with the Aroma Selection feature.

Cold brew – extreme freshness

Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares genuine cold brew specialties. While many conventional cold coffee drinks consist mostly of hot-brewed coffee which is then chilled, in the Z10 extraction takes place with cold water, pulsed at high pressure, and more coarsely ground coffee. The end result is a natural, energizing and refreshing beverage in which the fruity aromas of the coffee can be fully enjoyed without being overwhelmed by bitters. Anything else would just be a cold coffee.

Eighth-generation brewing unit

The brewing unit is the most important part of any automatic coffee machine. For the Z10, JURA has created the eighth-generation brewing unit. With its unique 3D brewing technology, it allows the water to flow evenly through the ground coffee at multiple levels. This makes the most of the aroma, both in hot specialties and with cold brewing.

Lasting elegance

Design and the careful choice of materials play an important role in product durability. JURA always strives to achieve a design that people will be proud to own and that will still look fresh and modern after many years. Uncompromising quality, durable, high-quality materials and maximum engineering precision guarantee both culinary and aesthetic excellence throughout the lifetime of the machine. The complex convex-concave aluminum front panel demonstrates the very highest standard of craftsmanship. The water tank with its elegant wave design and the harmonious filter casing are just two examples of the attention paid to what might seem like small details. As soon as you touch the Z10, you sense what true worth means to JURA.

SUPPORT CLIPS

Changing the filter

Thanks to the integrated RFID (Radio-Frequency-Identification) chip, the CLARIS Smart continuously records information about filter use and alerts the user when the filter capacity has been used up. CLARIS Smart is automatically detected by the coffee machine and water is automatically routed through it.

Descaling the machine

Scale is the biggest enemy of any appliance that uses water. Only use JURA descaling tablets, which remove scale gently to extend the life of your coffee machine.

Cleaning the milk system

It's easy to keep the milk system in the dual spout hygienic and working perfectly. Just remember to clean the milk system every day if you have been preparing milk. This only takes about two minutes. Only use JURA milk system cleaner, which is specially formulated to clean the milk system.

Cleaning the machine

Cleaning extends the life of your coffee machine and keeps the coffee quality at the highest level. Only use JURA cleaning tablets, which are specially designed to work with the cleaning program.

Our 2005 Jura was top of the line ,we loved it and after all the years hated to make the effort to learn a new pot. But Wow!!!! Just Wow !Upon arrival the new model was a little intimidating, so we looked up “unboxing” on You Tube. After viewing the video a couple of times we still felt intimidated so used the stop , rewind view again approach. We had also bought the cool milk refrigerator, which required a different video. (Some things about our tech world are wonderful)Everything fit together and it was time to make coffee. We use dial on top to scroll through the screen, rather than scrolling the screen with our fingers. Mainly because we are in our seventies and our fingers are not as flexible as they used to be.After setting the water hardness and the length of time for the machine to remain turned on (we chose 9 hours) we put milk in the cooler. And made our first cup of cappuccino.I have found cappuccino is my favorite selection. I put three tablespoons of a sugar free syrup in my cup. Dial the photo then touch the screen. While it grinds I can make it stronger with more volume . In the morning I like an 8 ounce serving in the evening a 4 ounce. My husband likes the cold brew selection . And the hot water selection for his tea.Clean up is a breeze . I put a plastic cover on the milk container , put that container in the refrigerator over night. Turn off the milk cooler for the night. Remove the connection tube . Turn my sink faucet on a fine stream of hot water. Put a drop of dishwashing soap on the tip end of the tube let the hot water run through it, for a minute or two. Then I put the tube inside the turned off cooler , lock the top on with its key. After cleaning the milk cooler I empty and wash the tray on the Jura pot, refill the water and coffee. So the next morning everything is ready to go again.I love this new Jura . It is so easy to use, and the coffee is delicious.Hope my review gives you the confidence to go for it .

We have owned 2 Jura machines in the past (they worked great but we upgraded from each machine). We were ready to treat ourselves to a serious upgrade and this machine has not disappointed. The automation of the machine makes it easy to just push a button and make your drink and it does the rinsing after milk containing drinks by itself. We have a reverse osmosis water system but we still use the Jura water filters and replace them as prompted by the machine. The maintenance aspect is easy and doesn’t take up a lot of time. Emptying and washing the bins that collect the ground beans and water is also a breeze. I highly recommend this Jura!

I’ve been using the Jura Z10 every day for the past six months, and I think it’s about time I shared my real-life experience with fellow coffee lovers considering this machine. It’s a hefty investment, so I wanted to make sure my review is as honest and practical as possible.**Quality and Ease of Use**: Straight off, the Z10 feels solid and well-made, almost like something you’d see in a coffee shop rather than a home kitchen. It's user-friendly and tech-savvy, which I appreciate. I’m a big fan of customization, and this machine lets me tweak my drinks exactly how I like them, especially when it comes to foam!**Maintenance – A Love-Hate Relationship**: Here’s the deal – the Z10 likes to be kept clean, especially if you're using milk. At first, the frequent cleaning felt like a chore, but I’ve come to appreciate it. It’s all automated, so it’s not a hassle, but you do need to stay on top of it. The catch is the ongoing cost of filters and milk system cleaner, but for me, the quality of the coffee justifies it. The cleaning takes nothing... throw in some cleaner and push a button. The milk system cleaning takes 3 minutes so I usually do it while drinking my coffee. It also rises the system after every drink so I keep a cup under it so I don't have to empty the drip tray all the time. The frequent cleaning is what keeps the machine running great and the coffee premium so it's a labor of love... and hardly any labor.**Nice Extras But With A Caveat**: The milk fridge has been a game-changer for my milky coffee drinks, keeping everything conveniently at hand. It's a separate purchase, but I can't imagine not having it. Also, the hot water dispenser is perfect for my tea-drinking moments. But here's a quirk – the machine is quite particular about ingredient levels. If you’re low on beans, water, or milk, it’ll start your drink and then stop midway to tell you to refill, which can be annoying. I’ve learned to check everything before I start brewing to avoid this hiccup.**Final Verdict**: Yes, the price tag made me think twice, and yes, the maintenance can feel a bit much at times. But considering how much I used to spend at Starbucks and how often I use the Z10, I’ve got no regrets. The quality of the coffee, the convenience, and the overall performance make it a worthwhile addition to my daily routine.

Expensive, yes. But simply do the math. If you drink just one Starbucks beverage per day, this machine will pay for itself in 18 months. Very programmable, delicious hot and cold brews. Simply the best. This is our third Jura in nearly 25 years. They are great.
