Revolutionising the coffee brewing scenario, De’Longhi has designed Rivelia, its new modern bean to cup automatic coffee machine, to let you indulge in a truly remarkable coffee experience and explore the world of fresh coffee beans at the touch of a button.

As easy as it sounds, just like good design should be. Rivelia focuses on ease of use as a core principle recalling the philosophy of “good design” by the German designer Dieter Rams that in the 70’s changed the history of the design field forever. To him, good design was not only visually pleasing but also innovative, smart and durable, with the foremost objective of making a product easy to comprehend and practical to use. Rivelia perfectly incorporates this philosophy, while applying its main design principle: engineering simplicity.

Like the Italian designer Bruno Munari once said: “Everyone can complicate. Few can simplify.” Rivelia is here to simplify and give you a great cup of coffee.

Stylish and intuitive

Rivelia has been engineered to achieve a compact and sophisticated design that perfectly complements your kitchen or coffee space décor thanks to its sleek lines and colours.

It is not only stylish but also an incredibly user-friendly, innovative, technologically advanced fully automatic machine that ensures that every cup of coffee is made with ease and precision. During coffee preparation, Rivelia showcases rich and immersive animations following the bean to cup transformation journey while its playful tone of voice adds an extra layer of charm and personality. One of the key design concepts that inspired Rivelia was the idea of bringing essential components, such as the bean hopper and water reservoir, outside of the machine. This groundbreaking approach places the raw materials in plain view to let you interact easily with the machine elements.

Smart like you: a tailored coffee experience

Using Rivelia is an enjoyable and effortless personalised experience, especially for smart homeowners who will be able to enjoy up to 16 customisable coffee and milk-based drinks.

For a captivating coffee-making experience, Rivelia has an intuitive 3.5’’ full-touch colour display and innovative technology that remembers individual taste preferences. With up to 4 user profiles, Rivelia ensures that multiple users can easily create their coffee menus and tailor their drinks to their unique tastes during the day. A strong morning Cappuccino with an extra shot or a light after-lunch Americano? There is a coffee for every moment of the day and Rivelia knows it.

Must-have for the most demanding design lovers

Rivelia is the latest De’Longhi companion that effortlessly elevates any interior space. It offers four sophisticated colour options: each is carefully crafted to respond to a timeless need for products that remain beautiful and appreciable over time, from the soft and serene pebble grey to the crisp and clean arctic white, the earthy and natural beige, or the bold and striking onyx black. The choice of matt surfaces and softened corners accentuated with easy-to-clean gloss finishing ensures that Rivelia is not only a fancy addition to your kitchen or any coffee space but also a practical one.

This state-of-the-art machine has been created with design enthusiasts and high-tech users in mind and it is a true testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to innovation and passion for coffee. As Dieter Rams once said: “You cannot understand good design if you do not understand people; design is made for people”. This coffee machine has been made for you.

In love with the taste but has a few quirks

Truly the best tasting drinks though few things I don't like for a machine at that price. It's extremely big, bigger than my microwave even so make sure you have the room as I now have a tiny cutting/prep counter space left. I had it originally on the unit where we store cans, pasta etc but it stuck out too much. It stops making my coffee midway when it tells me to do something like; empty the pucks and drip tray for example. It should tell me beforehand or after it finishes making my coffee instead of stopping my pour for me to undo everything. I do like that everyone has their own profiles but I don't quite understand it. It doesn't update accordingly. Let's say I have 5 flat whites in a row, the flat white option doesn't go to the #1 option. It looks random. It'll be the hot milk as #1, then the cappuccino as #2 option that I had the week prior so I really don't get it. One of my son's doesn't understand it as well, in fact he's gotten upset at his older brother a few times accusing him of using his profile because the list becomes so random, drinks he doesn't select as his first top 3 showing. I'm just very confused like I'm missing something here. I do love the personalized name saying "your coffees ready" message but it only shows that if I don't have a drink with the milk which is odd. Also the max is 10 letters for the names so we couldn't put what we originally wanted as funny names. The cleaning spout for milk option is great as it cleans it out good. The milk frother I've tried it with milk, cream, vanilla "cream" and barrista oat milk and it works wonderfully with all 4!! Always, and I mean, ALWAYS have a cup or something under the machine as it pours hot water when you turn on the machine and after your drink before the self turn off along with the cleaning milk spout option after every usage with milk. I was debating between a 4 or 3, just because some things I did not expect for a pricey high end machine. Other than all that, it is a delicious cup every time truly, I'm obsessed with the taste of the drinks it produces, the best I've had!! Oh and set up was very easy as the display screen explains to you what to do at each step.

Expensive but nice.

This is a very high quality espresso maker. It is fully automatic so all you need to do is to fill your favorite coffee beans and press a button. It will automatically grind, load and create espresso shots. You can pick one or double shot. It has also many other drink options. It has a very responsive and accurate touch screen. You can select any kind of drinl from the list. It produces good quality crema, which is nice sign. You can adjust grind setting t lower for getting better espresso. It allows you to customize your drink. Once it is customized, it saves the drink under your profile and produces same drink quality every-time. It is pretty compact and nice looking machine. Overall it is very well designed machine, however it is priced double than Magnifica Start, abut coffee quality is not better to justify that cost. If you need advance features like dual coffee beans box, then it makes sense, otherwise stick to Magnifica line.

The Perfect Machine? Really? YES!!! 6 Star!

In a nutshell - this is like having a personal barista that never messes up your order. Touchscreen makes everything stupid easy — 18 hot & iced drinks, different user profiles that remember your custom tweaks, and even cleans itself. The 2 bean hoppers are genius for switching roasts (or decaf) without skipping a beat. Coffee? Smooth, rich, café-level.Only gripe? Don’t think I have any really. If pushed, i’d say the “XL” is only 12oz… but you can tweak it to 16oz with an extra shot and it remembers. Water tank’s a bit small, but it’s super compact for what it does. I’ve had machines that cost 3x as much — this one beats ’em all.If you love coffee, this really is a game changer (yes, sound cliche but no joke - it is). Complicated drinks, simple as a tap, and no barista knowledge required. So easy, you’ll actually enjoy using it daily… and bragging about it too.Longer Review: The Coffee Machine That Will Spoil You ForeverIt doesn’t just make coffee — it makes your perfect coffee (plain or fancy), every time, without you lifting more than a finger. I’ve owned pricier machines, but this one’s the first that not only feels premium but delivers a premium experience from start to finish and does it all for you. The touchscreen walks you through everything, from brewing to cleaning, so you’ll have café-grade drinks without even reading the manual, or having an ounce of barista knowledge. The 2 bean hoppers are genius — dark roast for mornings, decaf for evenings, no bean dumping required. The drinks? Rich, smooth, proper crema, and milk froth that’s silky enough to make a barista blush. My only nitpick: the “XL” coffee size is just 12oz. However - you can customize it to 16oz with an extra shot, and it’ll remember for next time.Criticisms? Aside from the XL thing, absolutely nothing. The water tank is a bit on the small side, but that’s a fair trade off for such a compact do it all machine. Really, it doesn’t take up much more space than a typical coffee maker, and has a smaller footprint then most manual expresso machines.Specs at a glance:18 preset drinks (hot & iced), swappable hoppers, 13-setting burr grinder, 4 user profiles, LatteCrema auto-clean frother, and a compact footprint for what it replaces.Final Thought/Bottom line — it’s a premium coffee shop experience, in your kitchen, on demand, complicated drinks made simple with zero drama. If you love coffee, this might be the last machine you ever “need” (until De’Longhi invents one that also brings you breakfast in bed). I could go on and on about this machine - but I’m keeping it to the point - it’s absolutely perfect
