The item was reasonably priced and shipped promptly. When I prepared to install it, I noted two issues. One: it was slightly different from my unit in the low-medium-high water temperature indication. Mine had three segregated "bars" and the replacement had a single round indicator. Since I picked the part number, Espresso Dolce was not responsible for this issue. Two: the knobs and their inner mechanisms were damaged. This was not noticeable without close inspection. Mine had the same issue and that was why I bought the replacement. I managed to make a working unit out of parts from each. These knob assemblies are very delicate and the issue was not readily noticeable or it happened during shipping. I do not fault Espresso Dolce in any way and I feel sure they would have let me return the assembly had I asked.
Had my espresso machine fixed after a circuitry problem and after 2 weeks it seems to work well. However, the lack of communication with the shop was an issue. I never received any updates from the store when the timeline went far past expected (I had to continually phone and find out what was happening), and I never received a phone call when the service cost reached a certain amount, meaning it was more expensive than I expected it to be on pickup. My phone call was also never returned when I called to inquire about this afterwards. While I’m happy with the technical service on my machine, the customer service was definitely lacking.
