Gaggia Coffee Machine

What Can You Make with A Gaggia Coffee Machine?

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in the world. Coffee is a brewed beverage with a bitter flavour prepared from the roasted seeds of the coffee plant. It is one of the world’s most consumed and oldest beverages and it is also one of the most commonly traded commodities. The spread and consumption of coffee and tea are how we learned that boiling water would kill the bacteria that used to make people sick.

Not only is coffee sold worldwide, but coffee machines and accessories have taken off in popularity. Coffee houses used to be the only place to get a decent cup of coffee, but now many people own espresso machines in their very own homes. Gaggia coffee machines are one of the most popular models, and Gaggia coffee machine parts are easy to purchase and replace, giving you the chance to enjoy freshly brewed coffee right at home.

So, just what can you make with the right Gaggia coffee machine parts? There are many different types of coffee beverages. Some are simple and others are complex. Some are made with coffee beans and others with ground coffee. Some have milk, while some do not. The following is a list of the most common coffee beverages:

Espresso

Espresso is a coffee beverage brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water (91–96 °C; 195–205 °F) through finely ground, compacted coffee. The resulting liquid is then poured into the cup. Espresso is quite strong, so servings are relatively small.

Latte

A latte is a coffee drink, made with steamed milk and espresso, then topped with foam or froth from a steaming wand. In other words, it's a caffeinated milkshake.

It's unclear how the name "latte" came about—some say it was named after the shape of the cup (which resembles an elongated letter "t"), while others insist that it simply means "milk." Regardless of its history, today’s lattes are usually served hot or iced in large glasses alike. You might also hear of lattes referred to as a caffe latte, a café con Leche, or café au lait, and either way, they're delicious!

Macchiato

Macchiato is a small drink that consists of espresso with a small amount of milk. Sometimes you'll see it written as macchiato con Panna, which means "marked" or "stained" with cream." Macchiato can also be written with or without the word "cafe," so if you're in Italy and you want to order a macchiato, ask for un cafe macchiato instead of just saying “un Caffe” by itself.

Cappuccino

A cappuccino is made with espresso coffee and steamed milk that has been frothed together with air into a creamy foam. Cappuccino drinks typically contain about 6 ounces of frothed milk, 1 ounce of espresso shots, sugar or sweetener if desired, and sometimes cocoa powder if desired as well (which turns it into a mocha cappuccino).
